Hamfest: every year ARCPC holds a swap meet to raise funds for operating expenses. One of the most popular swap meets in North Texas, people come from all around to shop for bargains and show their wares.
ARRL Field Day: always held on the fourth full weekend in June, ARRL Field day is one of the most popular on-the-air operating event in amateur radio. Tens of thousands of amateur radio operators gather for a public demonstration of amateur radio. Field Day is part educational event, part operating event, part public relations event - and ALL about FUN!
Ice Cream Social: held at the end of summer, ARCPC members, family, and friends gather for an evening of relaxation, fellowship, and most important of all - Ice Cream - lots of it. What a great way to say goodbye to those scorching Texas Summers.
Ride for Heroes: sponsored by Moritz Cadillac, the Ride for Heroes is one of the fastest growing bike rides in Texas. The Ride for Heroes supports those individuals who unselfishly volunteer their time and talents to make East Parker County a better place to live.
Peach Pedal: a premier cycling event, the Peach Pedal is a scenic ride with something for everyone. Routes range from and easy 9 miles to a challenging 100 kilometers. After the ride, shuttle buses will take riders from the start/finish to the Parker County Peach Festival in downtown Weatherford, where visitors enjoy lots of food, crafts, music and country hospitality.
