The Amateur Radio Club of Parker County (ARCPC) is a non-profit educational and service organization chartered under the laws of the State of Texas. ARCPC is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League, a national association of Amateur Radio clubs.

Amateur Radio Technician Class License
Our next Amateur Radio Techcician class to prepare of the FCC testing will be held on two consecutive Saturdays in November from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The dates are November 7 & 14. The test will be held at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th of November. There is no charge for the training; however, you will need to purchase an ARRL Ham Radio License Manual 5th Edition. The book may be purchased on Amazon by searching for Ham Raio License Manual 5th Edition or from ARRL @https://home.arrl.org/action/Shop/Store. Limited copies may be available for purchase at the time of training. ARC of Parker County 2026 ARRL Field Day Report
ARC of Parker County participated in ARRL Field Day Event held 06.27.2026. Approximately 11 members of the club along with additional radio operators attended the event. The event was held at the Brock-Dennis Fire Station #2 in Weahterford, Texas. A total of 403 contacts were made for a total of 563 points including 70 of the 86 ARRL Sections. 390 ontacts were made in the mainland with 7 in Canada, 2 in Pureto Rico, 1 in Austalia, 1 in Hawaii, 1 in Venezuela and 1 in the Rebublic of Korea.

Parker County CERT
Parker County CERT will be holding training to become a Parker County member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). For more information, contact the Parker County office of Emergency Managemnt at 817-588-0969, by Email @ pccert@parkercountytx.com or their website @ https://www.parkercountytx.gov/121/CERT. Members of the Parker County Amatuer Radio club are encourged to participate in the program.
